1 Make sure the printer is turned OFF.

2 Open the access cover and center the printhead.

Replacing the Ribbon Cartridge

Important!

Make sure you have the correct replacement ribbon for the

your printer. The wrong ribbon will not print when installed

in your printer.

Ribbon Cartridge Handling

• Leave unused ribbon cartridges in their packages until

needed.

• Careful; the ribbon ink may cause permanent stains.

• Ribbon ink on skin or clothing can usually be removed

with soap and water.
